Brushing your pet's teeth shouldn't have to be a hassle either.

All too often we take it for granted that our best four-legged friends take care of their oral hygiene on their own, which leads us to give little thought to their oral health. Or simply the fact that we simply can't be bothered, precisely because it can be quite messy for various reasons. Boring, time consuming or the dog is not very cooperative.

Just like the iSiBRUSH children's toothbrush, this toothbrush aims to make brushing easier, but for your four-legged friend.

iSiDOG is a unique dog toothbrush with three heads on one toothbrush. Like the iSiBRUSH, it aims to surround the teeth all around, which it does with its three heads. One brush for the outer side, one for the inner side and one for the chewing surface.

This allows you to brush with ease by moving the toothbrush back and forth without having to think about moving the toothbrush in all the directions normally needed, as iSiDOG brushes all sides of the teeth at the same time. Which also makes it easier and quicker, which in turn contributes to more convenience for both you and your dog, as brushing is rarely a favourite for either party.

Do dogs and cats really need to brush their teeth?

Answer yes.

Many people, including pet owners believe that animals clean their own teeth and therefore do not need to brush them. This is partly true. Animals have a self-cleaning oral process which means that they should not normally need to brush their teeth. But then we also have to assume that they are still wild animals and live on food from the wild. Which is not the case today.

The culprit is the diet we feed them today, a diet that is man-made and contains a lot of carbohydrates; carbohydrates, as most people know, are sugars of a different composition.

It is recommended that dogs brush their teeth once a day.

Gentle and friendly

This dog toothbrush is made for animals, and thus adapted for them. This means that it is made to be as gentle as possible.

The head is flexible and adapts to the pressure, if more pressure is applied it bends backwards to follow the teeth and thus achieve the best possible result.

The handle is also designed to be as easy to grip as possible, making brushing as painless as possible.

In addition, it also has a hole at the end that allows it to be hung.

Usage & Tips

You use the toothbrush more or less like a regular toothbrush. Apply toothpaste and brush. In our range you will also find toothpaste with a flavour that the dog likes and that does not lather or need to be rinsed out afterwards.

If your dog is a bit shy or doesn't want to cooperate, one suggestion is to try to get him used to the toothpaste and brush before you start. Let it smell/taste a dollop of toothpaste to familiarise itself with it, same with the toothbrush itself. Possibly you could insert a finger with toothpaste on it into the dog's mouth, alternatively and better still, use a spout with some toothpaste on it just to get the dog familiar with a brush in its mouth, which may be easier when your finger is there too.
