It is recommended that the product is cleaned before use for the first time.

The children's cutlery is easy to clean and can be washed just like normal cutlery - in both the dishwasher and by hand. And because they're made from food-grade silicone, that means they can withstand very high and low temperatures, so they can even be boiled, frozen or microwaved if you wish. If you want to sterilise the cutlery, you can do so simply by boiling it in water for about 2 minutes.
