Ingredients:

  • 2 medium-sized carrots
  • 1 medium-sized potato
  • water

How to do it:

  1. Prepare the vegetables:

    Peel and cut the carrots and potatoes into small pieces.

  2. Cooking:

    Place the carrot and potato pieces in a saucepan and cover with water. Bring to the boil and simmer until the vegetables are soft, which takes about 20 minutes.

  3. Mash the vegetables:

    Drain the water and use a potato masher or blender to mash the vegetables into a smooth puree. If the puree is too thick, add a little water until it reaches the desired consistency.

  4. Serving:

    Allow the puree to cool before serving it to your baby. Leftover puree can be stored in the fridge for up to two days or frozen for later use.
